John E. Baverso, AIA
John E. Baverso is the Managing Principal in Baverso Architects. Graduating with a Bachelor in Architecture from Pratt Institute in 1978, New York, he has also attended Harvard University Continuing Education Programs in Health Care Design. Prior to opening Avanti Architecture, he had 25 years experience as a project designer and has managed architectural projects for hospitals, universities, medical ambulatory facilities and medical office buildings. He has previous Master Planning and Design experience in projects valued over $200,000,000.00. He is a registered architect in the State of Pennsylvania.

Sandra Colatrella, RN, BSN, CLNC
Sandra Colatrella, RN, BSN, CLNC is a principal team member in the firm and serves as Project Manager and Contract Administrator. She is responsible for addressing regulatory and code compliance issues which includes Department of Health, Life & Safety, OSHA, ADA, and HIPAA; she also assumes a variety of design, team coordination and administrative duties as projects dictate. Graduating from La Roche University with a Bachelor’s in Science in Nursing, she has completed graduate courses at the University of Pittsburgh School of Public Health in Health Administration and is certified as a legal nurse consultant. She has over 30 years clinical and healthcare administration experience; her background encompasses financial and development services primarily in the area of ambulatory care including quality assurance, research and statistical analysis.

Vincent A. Baverso
Vince Baverso, graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Writing. He continued his education with classes in Architectural Drafting and Design at the Community College of Allegheny County. Joining the firm in 2007, he has experience with AutoCAD 2009, Revit, and Inventor. His responsibilities include all CAD design, drafting and 3-D modeling for the practice.
