Firsching, Marstiller, Rusbarsky and Wolf Engineering

Formed on November 6, 1995 by Richard C. Firsching, David D. Rusbarsky and Daniel J. Wolf. On April 1, 1999, Charles E. (Ted) Marstiller became a partner of the firm, adding to the partnership's already extensive experience base. FMRW is located just 15 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh in Forest Hills, PA. FMRW specializes in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing) engineering, primarily, for institutional clients. FMRW has worked for several Pittsburgh area hospitals and for Dulles International Airport in Washington, D.C. for nearly its entire existence. However, FMRW has an extensive list of non-institutional clients, as well. This list includes everything from branch banks and corner Restaurants to professional office Building and light industrial buildings.

Barber & Hoffman, Inc.

Barber & Hoffman, Inc. has been providing structural engineering services since C. Merrill Barber founded the firm in Cleveland in 1934. Together with his partners and successors, has left the pubic and private sectors many impressive landmarks. In 1998, Barber & Hoffman, Inc. opened an office in Western Pennsylvania and has expanded its presence in the mid-Atlantic region.

Five Principals, whose continuous association with the firm ranging from 18-33 years, currently direct the firm. This leadership with a versatile staff of eight professional engineers, six E.I.’s, and three drafters/CADD technicians possessing decades of experience coupled with the knowledge of the latest design techniques, materials technology, and cost-effective planning procedures a wide range of interesting and efficient buildings and complexes. The Cleveland, Ohio office currently has a staff of twenty-five and a Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania office has a staff of ten.
